Based in Clifton Hill, Melbourne, we specialise in the assessment and treatment of gross motor delay and physical problems affecting babies and young children.
We use our knowledge and experience with childhood conditions, objective methods of assessment and the latest research to deliver high quality physiotherapy services.
Our welcoming clinic has been designed for babies and young children to feel at ease and move freely.
Dr Suzanne Long, Physiotherapist
Suzanne obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2002, and has worked with babies and children ever since. She was trained in paediatric physiotherapy at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where she consolidated her knowledge and skills in treating children with a variety of cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic and neurological conditions.
Suzanne holds a PhD for her studies of gross motor development following early surgery, and has led a number of related research projects at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She has a certificate in Infant Massage Instruction and is a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher.
Suzanne has two school-aged children and remembers vividly the joys and challenges of early parenting. From personal experience, she appreciates the unique stress and uncertainty faced by families who care for children with special needs.
